Welcome to Advanced Placement Physics!
Advanced Placement Physics is a second year Physics course for students interested in preparing for the Level C Advanced Placement examinations in Mechanics and in Electricity and Magnetism.  The course includes laboratory activities, problem solving exercises, and independent student projects.  To be approved for this course, you should have completed Physics I with a grade of "B+" or better or have completed Honors Physics I with a grade of "B-" or better.  You also need to be taking or to have taken either the AB Calculus course or the BC Calculus.  Our textbook is called Fundamentals of Physics, 9th Edition, by Halliday, Resnick, and Walker.  This year we are using an online version of the textbook available through the WebAssign online homework system.    If you have any questions about the course and your enrollment, please see your advisor or me.
