- Welcome to Advanced Placement Physics!
- Advanced Placement Physics is a second year Physics course for students interested in
preparing for the Level C Advanced Placement examinations in Mechanics and in Electricity
and Magnetism. The course includes laboratory activities, problem solving exercises,
and independent student projects. To be approved for this course, you should have
completed Physics I with a grade of "B+" or better or have completed Honors
Physics I with a grade of "B-" or better. You also need to be taking or to
have taken either the AB Calculus course or the BC Calculus. Our textbook is called
Fundamentals of Physics, 9th Edition,
by Halliday, Resnick, and Walker. This year we are
using an online version of the textbook available through the WebAssign online
homework system. If you have
