Review Material
- Welcome to Honors Physics!

-
- Honors Physics is an analytical study of the interactions in the physical world around
us. Topics include motion, forces, energy, momentum, sound, light, electricity,
magnetism, special relativity, and quantum physics. The course stresses a conceptual
understanding of the basic principles of Physics and emphasizes the application of these
principles in the laboratory and in the "real" world. The course does have
a prerequisite of the successful completion of an Algebra II course. In addition students
need to have earned a grade of "B-" or better in Honors Chemistry I or a grade
of "B+" or better in Chemistry I. If you have any questions about your
course selection, see your Advisor or me.
- Our textbook is Physics 6th Edition by Douglas Giancoli.
